Welcome to the future of fitness. If youâve just received your Visionbody EMS suit, know that what you are holding in your hands isnât just a piece of workout gear; youâre holding an FDA-cleared and TĂV-certified piece of German technology designed to help you change your body in just 20 minutes.
Maybe you bought your Visionbody suit because you want to lose weight, build your lean muscle mass, get rid of your back pain, or just because you want to make sure you continue to stay fit and healthy. Whatever your âwhyââ is, I want to make sure you get the best results possible and that you know how to use your Visionbody suit. Below, Iâll walk you through everything you need to know, from that very first power-up to the best ways to keep your suit clean and ready for training.
The Visionbody PowerSuit is part of my lifeâs work and my pride; it is not just a piece of gym clothing, but your own wearable high-tech laboratory.
The suit is made from antibacterial textile and is designed to fit you like your second skin. There are no cables, no straps, no sci-fi-looking add-ons; there is also no need for water or gels, meaning that you just have to put your suit on and start your training after doing a short warm-up.
When you train with it, the suit sends electrical impulses to your muscles via the 24 strategically placed dry electrodes, and because we use Electro Muscle Stimulation combined with Electro Myo Activation technologies, we bypass the skinâs resistance to reach the deep-seated stabilizing muscles that traditional workouts often miss. This allows you to activate up to 98% of your muscle fibers simultaneously.
Once your Visionbody suit arrives, you will find everything you need for a wireless workout inside the box.
Remember to charge your Powerbox. When charging a solid white light will appear; the light will turn off when the Powerbox is fully charged.
There are a few small steps to take before putting on your suit that will ensure everything is set and ready to go. For starters, you should carefully read your user manual, and while you do that, make sure you charge your Powerbox by inserting the charger into the port until it clicks. As stated above, the charger is compatible with any Apple iPhone adapter/plug. When the white indicator lights from your Powerbox turn off, it means that your battery is fully charged.
Next, you need to activate your Powerbox, and to do that, you need to download the MyVisionbody App and sign up. Remember to verify your email, check your spam folder if necessary.
And last but not least, check up our YouTube channel where you can find some suggested workout videos.
Just a little information before we start to help you better understand what the lights on the power box mean.
You can find more information about how to get started with your Visionbody suit, explained in a simple and fun way, in this animated video made by one of our trainers:
Think of the MyVisionbody App as your personal control center. The app allows you to control your suit and your Powerbox, fine-tune impulse intensity across different muscle groups, monitor your heart health via built-in ECG tech, and select programs tailored to your body.
Watch this video for step-by-step instructions on how to sign up for the app:
To prepare for your training, make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is turned on, log in to your app, turn on your Powerbox, click on âStart Trainingâ, choose a program, and carefully increase the electrical impulse intensity body part by body part. Donât forget a brief warm-up; sweat helps conduct the impulses to your muscles.
Because I created this suit with freedom of movement in mind, you can do almost any type of training while wearing it.
The important part is to keep moving. Just remember it has electrical parts, so donât take it for a swim. Read Your Complete EMS Training Guide for home routines.
Because the suit is made from antibacterial textile, you can turn it inside out after training and hang it in a well-ventilated place. For washing, follow these steps:
2-3 sessions per week are ideal for most users. Remember: your muscles keep growing during recovery, too.
Since the suit is made from antibacterial textile, you can simply hang it out to dry in a well-ventilated place once youâre done with your training. Alternatively, if you prefer to machine wash it then all you have to do is fold the suit without bending the electrodes while making sure they are placed on the inside of the suit. Then place the folded suit inside the laundry bag you got when it was delivered, put it in the washing machine, select a gentle washing cycle, and use a mild chemical-free laundry detergent.
If you also want to clean your PowerBox, you can gently wipe it with a dry cloth; you should never submerge it in water.
To sum it up, if youâve decided that you want to do EMS training at home and want to buy your own suit, then my advice is to buy a suit that is FDA-approved, user-friendly, doesnât require spending a lot of extra time with prep before training, integrates smoothly into your everyday activities, and provides noticeable improvements without complicating things.
And if a simple set-up, easy-to-use EMS suit with certified technology is what youâre looking for, I sincerely recommend Visionbody, not because I created it, but because it fits all the requirements.
